We appreciate donations to the club. They are an important component of what allows us to continue to provide high quality programming.

You may designate your donation for “equipment fund,” “scholastic fund,” or “general operating fund.” Undesignated donations go to our operating fund to help cover the annual expenses associated with running our programs.

Scholastic Rowing Scholarship Fund

The Mid Hudson Rowing Association is committed to supporting local scholastic rowing. Proceeds from specially designated fundraisers support our annual scholarship donations to the seven local middle and high school teams who row from the Hudson River boathouse with us.

MHRA DONATION POLICY

MHRA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that welcomes donations, including cash and shares in publicly-traded companies. Our federal tax ID# (EIN) is 14-6031114. Donations will be considered unrestricted and applied to our general operating account, unless the donor indicates otherwise at the time of the donation. Stock shares received will be sold immediately as is practicable. For brokerage details on how to make a donation of stock shares, please contact us.

Mid Hudson Rowing Association (MHRA), founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit rowing club located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Its mission is to promote safe practices for adult and scholastic rowing and to provide opportunities to enjoy the natural and scenic beauty of the Hudson River.
