Members are invited to attend MHRA events, row with Club equipment, and use the HRRA Community Boathouse facilities associated with our tenancy there.
New annual members receive a complimentary club t-shirt. Annual members are also eligible to vote at the annual meeting to determine the Board of Directors and receive discounted rates on clinics, such as the sculling clinic and advanced sculling lessons.
All members are invited to attend the annual meeting to participate in a fun club social event and to offer suggestions to facilitate planning for the next rowing season.
As a member, we provide you with access to shared club equipment, including our inventory of boats, oars, and launches.
MHRA encourages members to train for racing and take part in regattas. Since our equipment is shared by all members, racers should be mindful of others and help ensure fair access to equipment for everyone.
Members may use club equipment for local (on-site) races with approval from the Head Coach.
Members may also request to use club equipment for off-site races, subject to Head Coach approval. If equipment must be car-topped or trailered for an off-site event, members agree to pay the club’s insurance deductible in the event of damage.
